So, Thank You Toonami for 11 years of memories and inspiration. New School, Toonamis beginning and ending. Anyway I believe that Naruto was Toonamis real main hit in show when it ended. I am a big fan of Naruto, I am not really a fan of the English dubbed version I am totally into the Japanese version. What Kishimoto has created is totally original and has turned into one kick-ass anime. I mean Masashi Kishimoto (The creator of Naruto if you dont know) basically said that some of Naruto attributes come from Son Goku of DBZ, and I am NOT saying that Kishimoto copied everything from DBZ. Naruto is basically kinda the new DBZ in this day and age of anime. I believe that Dragonball Z was one of the animes that really helped lunched Toonami into the spotlight. This anime totally started it all for me. Even those who didnt watch Toonami that much kinda knew what Dragonball Z or Son Goku were.

Any and everybody that grew up on Toonami knows Dragonball Z. I wanted to do a tribute piece basically honoring two great anime shows representing the beginning and ending of Toonami. I had a really great time drawing this piece. My first great pieces of artwork were drawings of Goku from Dragonball Z, Enzo Matrix from ReBoot, and so many more. Toonami also most importantly gave me inspiration to pick up a pencil and draw. Toonami has brought me so many great memories that I will never forget. I grew up on Toonami, watching my favorite heroes go at it back to back every single day of my life after school. It still does not change the fact that Toonami changed my life forever. Even though I kinda knew Toonami was slowly dying when it was permanently moved to Saturdays. Yes, seeing the horrible TOM v.4 model fly away and leave the Flowus 3 abandoned on a desert planet kinda brought a tear to my eye. As a long time fan I was somewhat deeply sadden by this.

Wow its been a really, really, really, long time.Īnyway most of you know that recently Toonami ended.
